Creations for extraordinary outdoor areas

Under this motto, a high-profile event with the business network Babbelrunde took place in the Fischer Möbel showroom. Participants were given insights into the design process and the various customization options for the exclusive outdoor furniture.
The event served as a platform for exchange, information, inspiration, strengthening business connections, and, not least, combining entrepreneurship with social responsibility. During the event, participants raised a total of €2,000, which was then donated to the social organization Tragwerk Kirchheim/Teck.

Antique Garden Furniture

In 1998, Sotheby’s auctioned off, among other items, historic garden furniture on behalf of Max von Baden in the largest “house auction” of the century. The majority of these pieces are presented here by the garden furniture enthusiasts at Fischer Möbel. Around 1900, these pieces were crafted with great artisanal skill, either as one-of-a-kind items or in small series.

Design Models

How is new outdoor furniture actually created? Fischer Möbel enjoys collaborating with designers and strives to break new ground. Some designers create furniture directly from initial sketches on a model, much like a sculptor. Models allow designers to examine details and perspectives closely, as well as to get a sense of the piece as a whole. Here, we present a series of design models in various scales. Some of these concepts were further developed and made it to production, while others remained “merely” designs.

Both installations are part of Fischer Möbel's permanent exhibition and are now on display at the Fischer Möbel showroom. We look forward to welcoming you!
